This Cookie Policy explains how Rankmore uses cookies and similar technologies on rankmore.app (the "Site") and within the Rankmore Shopify application (the "App"). Read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web app. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time, and enable various analytics and functional features.
2. Categories of cookies we use

3. Third-party cookies
Some of the cookies above are set by third-party providers we use:
- Shopify — sets session and security cookies when the App is loaded inside the Shopify admin (governed by Shopify's cookie policy).
- PostHog — sets a pseudonymous distinct-id cookie for product analytics (governed by PostHog's privacy policy).
- Cloudflare — may set
__cf_bmbot-management cookies on requests routed through Cloudflare.
We do not embed advertising trackers, social media widgets that set cookies, or any other third-party trackers beyond those listed above.
4. Managing your cookie preferences
You can control cookies in the following ways:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See your browser's documentation. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will likely prevent the App from working.
- Cookie banner. Where required by law (e.g. EEA, UK), you'll see a cookie banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your selection at any time by clearing your browser's site data for rankmore.app and reloading.
- Do Not Track. We honor browser-level Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as opt-out requests where applicable.
5. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
